Yes. Open GPTAnon and start asking without creating an account. Anonymous visitors and free accounts receive a free daily usage allowance that resets at 00:00 UTC. The Usage remaining meter shows the current balance; one-time credit packs are available when the free allowance is exhausted.

Does GPTAnon store my chat history?

For ordinary Chat, GPTAnon does not add conversations to a saved server-side chat history or attach them to your account. Disappearing Chat clears GPTAnon's browser/session copy of a question after you move on. It does not change processing or retention by OpenRouter or the selected model provider. GPTAnon processes prompt content through its API and sends it to OpenRouter, which routes it to the selected AI provider/model. OpenRouter and that provider apply their own privacy policies. The selected provider and its privacy label are shown before you send. Provider terms can vary by endpoint and change over time. Clearing GPTAnon's session copy does not erase provider copies or browser artifacts.

Are all models equally private?

One confident AI answer can still be wrong, incomplete, or missing important context. An independent second opinion answers the original question without seeing the first answer. The optional Cross-check instead reviews an existing answer. Agreement is a useful signal to investigate, not proof that either answer is true.

Does upgrading connect my payment information to my questions?

No. Stripe processes your payment but never receives your prompts. GPTAnon keeps billing records separate from conversation content and does not save a server-side history of what you ask.

Do compared answers disappear together?

Yes. A question and its answers or optional Cross-check result are treated as one private question bundle and clear together according to the selected 5-minute, 15-minute, or until-clear setting. This does not erase provider copies.

Cross-check is an optional review of an existing Answer. Choose any active model except the exact Answer model in the matching picker, or choose No cross-check. It can surface qualifications, missing context, and claims worth checking; it is not a truth or bias score.

What happens when I buy credits?

Accepted Answer

The verified one-time packs are 150 credits for $5 and 500 credits for $15 standard when shown. Purchased credits do not expire or renew automatically. Your draft, selections, and return path remain available through checkout; Pro is a separate recurring subscription with monthly credits.
